This channel contains basic ,advance and extreme lanyard/scoubidou/boondoggle/gimp/scoubi etc.
In these videos i'm using Rexlace gimp, wires for supporting the lanyards, and sometimes some super glue.
Most tutorials are creations I've made during the past (almost) 10 years. Most of them are intended for people who knows the basics, which are the Box (Square), Circle, Brick, Twist,Quad and Tornado.
I do make tutorials for other more complex stitches as well, see "The Inner Stitch" for a good example.
My plans for this channel, is to give out everything that can be done with this craft. To give you tools that'll help you with your own creations.

Second Collection of Projects from 2022

Collection that involved stacking strings close to each other (such as the first one), and making disks (such as the third project). Or a mix of both ideas. music- Beethoven, fur Elise short piece no 3 (by me, yonatan setbon)
Tutorial of the Butterfly (2021 Version) - Part 4
Переглядів 5502 роки тому
Finishing the first wing, the second wing is exactly the same. I'd say there are two sections to end the wing, one is improvised and one is not. The non-improvised is at the first part of the video, its alternating with a regular box stitch and a re-centered box stitch. The second part has 4 endings (sections) where I improvise. 00:00 - Intro 02:10 - 9 box stitches. First regular, then re-cente...
How to make the Caterpillar Box Stitch Lanyard
Переглядів 8633 роки тому
A box stitch but one side of the strings goes in the opposite direction. After a couple of stitches the lanyard prefer to turn in another direction, which reminds me of a caterpillar that stands up. 00:00 - intro 00:27 - 1st stitch 02:22 - 2nd stitch 03:40 - 3rd stitch 04:44 - 4th stitch 06:07 - results Link to music- imslp.org/wiki/Romanian_Christmas_Carols,_Sz.57_(Bartók,_Béla)

I tried to think what can be done just by creating holes inside the strings. All projects involved not using any knots, just as a previous video - ua-cam.com/video/TEo6-AwMAwk/v-deo.html Link to the music - ua-cam.com/video/_eU9wXnkaHI/v-deo.html

Why the Scoubitunnel is so useful
Переглядів 7723 роки тому
When adding strings as you may notice, the stitch gets curved therefor it cant stand still . Having a scoubitunnel base the curvature is no longer a problem since there are now 4 maximum points, instead of one. (Sorry for the terrible quality) #scoubitunel #lanyard #boondoggle

Cool ❤
very good
pp
Thats pretty cool!
This looks interesting! Is it a 2D projection of a 3D environment?
its 2D, but there's an option to add mask layers that creates "over under" effects.
It's so amazing to see that you and Violet are still actively frontiering the community here on UA-cam!
Absolutely great video! Ill share it 😊
This was my childhood
I see people making bricks 1 x 16, or whatever number they choose. Is it possible to change that 1 to a 2? Or is are bricks always going to just be 1 x your number of choice?
What I’m trying to ask is can you make both the width and the length larger? Because from a regular brick, you turn it to the side and it’s only 1 stitch long, can you change that size?
Yes you can change the size to say 2x1 the do 2x2 etc
@@1anya7d can you make a video showing how?
Things for doing so slow so we could think of it
My gimp is kinda messed up but this really helped with what I was trying to do
Thank you going to try now
Relerning it
Erm 0:36 what if we have a circle at the bottom
Omg I tried this method tonight and was successful in 5 minutes love this way of starting because my nails are seriously long lol
What type of string do you use
What a talent... I'm amazed! Thank you, I shall try . I already done 2 different shapes which I never done before...all with your help :)
Perfeectttt thank you sooo much !!
I would do that just because it’s satisfying
When I crochet and undo the yarn it’s studying and sometimes it’s a little too satisfying and I end up undoing my whole crochet project 😭
Cannot understand
a very confusing pattern but i found it easy to follow along with you. thanks!
I tried to do a corkscrew 7x1... I finished it but it was a frickin’ nightmare...
Who is here in 2024😢 2:26
Jesus is Lord! He paid for your sins! By the way, we were all sinners. (that’s our nature without God) Jesus died a very bad death for you. He was nailed to a cross. God (YAHWEH) wants your heart because He loves you. Jesus was the perfect Lamb to sacrifice because He had no blemish. In other words, Jesus never sinned but he died for our sins. He paid the fines for our sins. That’s so crazy because we sin so much in our daily lives! He rose from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit! Jesus was sent by God because He’s God’s own son! He was filled with the Precious Holy Spirit (God’s Spirit) so He had the power over sin! We can receive the Holy Spirit if we do these things: 1. Admit we are a sinner and repent from your sins (turn away from sin) 2. Believe that Jesus is God and He died for you and rose for you 3. Confess that Jesus is Lord. I love you, please take this into action. God loves you, Jesus loves you and the Holy Spirit loves you! You were in Their mind before creation. If you do these things you can have eternal life with God in Heaven! Look at creation, you can tell that there is a creator, the proof: creation. In the same way you know that there was a painter because you can see the painting. God is real and He’s coming to judge the world. It’s not by our own works we get saved but the works of Jesus Christ. Put your trust in Jesus and let the Holy Spirit lead your lives! I love you all, that’s why I am sharing this! I don’t anyone to go to hell! God bless you! Read the Bible!❤️🔥🕊😃
OMGGGG you are so amazing
How do you start this right from the beginning please?
What length is the string?
Can you make a Luffy hat??
Hey. I stumbled upon your channel and it reminded me how more than 12 years ago I was making my own creations with strings. One thing that caught my eye is that you use flat strings meanwhile I used to use rounded ones. I'm curious, where do you buy your strings? Any Idea where can I et these flat ones? Cheers.
The name of the brand I normally use is called Rexlace , also another good quality company I experienced with is Toner crafts. Check these brands on Amazon "toner craft lanyard" or something like that
@@1anya7d Thanks!
I only came to figure out how to end it, and though it wasn't the main point of the vid, it was the best and most clear one I could find. Thanks so much!!!!

Well explained throughout. I don’t speak Swiss well, but underneath, over, coming down, pointing down, coming up and pointing up in reference to the coloured plastic cord.
I must admit: I had no idea such a thing could be done with these. This is amazing! Well done 👏🏼 best Pokémon too 😉
Super hard
How on earth
Thank you!
Thank you so much for making this video! I remember making these a couple years ago and forgot how to do it. I really appreciate this. Thanks! ❤❤❤
